BulletProof FTP - Stey by Step Configuration

BulletProof FTP Pro animated setup - NEW!!!


Step 1 - Open the BulletProof FTP program and click "Site Manager".

Step 2 - The "BPFTP Client PRO " window appears.
Under the "Categories/folders" click "Add" and then in the "Folder name:" field enter "FTP Hosts" and click "OK.

Step 3 - The "FTP Host" now appears in the "Categories/folders" section and click "New".

Step 4 - Now you will need to enter the connection info

1. In the "Site Description" field enter your site name or your real name (e.g Tom Jones)

2. In the "FTP Address" field enter your site name (e.g ftp.tom-jones or tom-jones.com)

3. In the "Username" enter your user name following the pattern <user>@<userdomain.com> (e.g tom@tom-jones.com - in the screenshot the "m" is only visible because of the short field).
Please note that if you do not include the "@domainname.com" section you won't be able to log in.
The port should be 21

4. Enter your password in the "Password" field.

5. Please make sure that the "Passive mode" checkbox is ticked, otherwise you won't be able to log in.

6.Click "OK"

Step 5 - Now your Site Descriptions should be visible in the white field (e.g Tom Jones) and you can click "Connect"

After you successfully connect to the server you should upload your site files in the "mainwebsite_html" folder. Please note that your main file should be named "index.html" or "index.php" (if you are using php).

Please make sure that you are viewing the screenshots in their
original sizes as there is possibility that your browser is resizing
the images!!!
